If you’re new to the LINK platform, this self-guided training will help you get started quickly and confidently. By the end, you’ll know how to import data, analyze results, create reports, and manage your projects and analysis templates.
Follow along step-by-step below to begin your LINK journey.
User authentication is managed through integration with Windows Active Directory (AD) and LDAP/LDAPS. Each account is assigned one of five configurable access levels: Administrator, Super User, Analyst, Reviewer, or Read-Only Viewer.
To access the LINK client, users simply log in using the authentication method and credentials configured by their organization
The Data Import function locates instrument data files on the network and transfers all relevant information into the LINK database (LINKdb). Once imported, sample measurements and result sets become available within LINK for visualization, analysis, and export.
Data imports can be initiated manually or configured to run automatically on a scheduled basis.
An Analysis Template defines how data is visualized within LINK. Each template contains one or more dashboards, which may include a chart, notes section, up to 10 tabular summaries, and thumbnail images (when available).
The Analysis and Reporting feature enables users to create, configure, and apply these templates to selected LINK projects, ensuring consistent and efficient data visualization.
LINK supports the creation of User LINKdb Fields to associate additional metadata with sample measurements. Metadata refers to any supplementary information applied to sample result sets and may be incorporated into analysis, processing, and reporting workflows.
Metadata may include:
LINK supports streamlined export of processed data and analysis outputs for reporting and downstream use.
The LINKdb Management tool provides centralized access for searching, viewing, and administering entities within the LINK database. Supported actions include:
